Massimiliano Pace: A Career Across Theatre, Music, and Experimentation
Born in Rome into a family of artists, Massimiliano Pace developed a strong bond with music from an early age, graduating with honors from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory under the guidance of Emma Contestabile. His career has spanned a variety of musical fields, with a particular interest in stage music, collaborating with prominent figures such as Turi Ferro and Andrea Camilleri.
In 1991, he received the ENAP Award for interdisciplinary works, and in 2013 he composed the music for La via della Spada, the opening performance of the World Fencing Championships, broadcast worldwide.
His body of work includes music for contemporary dance, soundtracks for film, radio, and television, as well as numerous albums and publications. In 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Bond Street Awards at the House of Lords in London.
He recently composed the stage music for Moby Dick with Moni Ovadia, directed by Guglielmo Ferro, and for L’amore mio non muore, written and performed by Roberto Saviano. He is currently working on the production of Lullaby, an album by Luciana Di Bella, continuing his journey of musical exploration and innovation.
